Listed at 6-foot-4, Owasso center Courtre Alexander was the biggest player on the court Tuesday night.

He was also one of the most aggressive and unstoppable.
Alexander dived to the hardwood to chase the basketball, he challenged two defenders on a leap to the rim, and he flicked a few assist to speeding teammates beneath the basket.

His 17 points helped Owasso to a 62-50 win, its seventh in the last eight games.

Alexander stayed on the court most of the night, though the rest of the starting lineup filtered in and out.

The Rams (7-5) led 16-13 after the first quarter and soon thereafter built a 34-23 halftime lead.

Jake Thompson, doubling Owasso’s size advantage along with Alexander, added 15 points, and Josh Proctor poured in 13 in limited minutes.

With 5:09 left in the third quarter, Bixby (2-6) made a wholesale substitution, trailing 18 by that point.
